Imac G5-1.8 + 1gig ram
Protools LE 6.4 Digi002 Motorola cable modem I have been using my imac since new for tracking with protools le. And it works fine. good track count and performance. Except after i use the internet or email. heres the typical scenario: Im on-line or typing emails. and then log off. turn off the modem... feel creative and want to work on some tracks in PT LE. turn on 002 ok. try to start Protools... it doesnt open! but says that it has crashed unexpectantly. I can then shut down the computer, restart, and protools works fine. as long as i dont turn on the modem or go on-line first. Its a frustrating problem. that slows me down. has anyone experienced anything similar? or have any ideas and/or solutions? Thanks for you help Darren |
