1. Called sales said card would be fine in my Mac 9600
2. Bought unit 3. Audio out distortion/breakup 4. 1 1/2 hours with tech support, RA for a new card 5. New card same problem! 6. Head of tech support calls: won't work in my machine, solution: "Sell the M-Audi or buy a new computer" 7. Called m-audio (midiman), only person to speak with re problem, sales or tech support, no customer service rep. Mac 9600: Sonnet G4/400 loads of memory. Suggestions please

Yeah MAudio stuff sucks for Macs as a general rule, even when it works.
Can't get your money back, huh? I'd say get rid of it as soon as you can though Ebay or something and get the stress out of your life. |
