i recently got this intership for thump radio here in friso. problem is that i love my mac, and the work that they are having do involves using sound forge and acid. basically, i take asome music and insert the company logo or soundbyte intermediately through the prerecorded mixes that are uncompressed. i want to use my macfor i really dont care to invest into a crappy pc. the station uses sound forge and acid to complete the task.
peace

If you're on os9 have u considered using pro tools free for the mixing component?

If not, a pretty good equivalent for soundforge is Amadeus II, I have yet to check out Bias though. Live is still an awesome program though, and it should definately suit what you require.
