Would you please calm down a little?
Panther is available for only two months now and we are working on solutions.

This is what development has to say:

>>>
As you are all so impatient I will give you a little inside information about this issue.
Cubase/Nuendo uses Quartz to draw alpha blended images. All other stuff is drawn with Quickdraw. This is because Quickdraw was faster in 10.2.x. Now as 10.3 came out, there is a bug in calling a Quartz API in certain circumstances that results in not drawing the alpha blended images. While discussing this bug with Apple I found a workaround. This workaround uses an old somewhat deprecated API call. Apple said that this call will be available the next few years. So ok, I have changed our code to include this workaround. On the other side, Apple has a really hard time to fix this bug (and yes the only big application that suffer from this bug is Cubase). Apple has not fixed it yet and I don't know when this will happen. So we will provide a fix for this early next year.
And as a side note, we are not the only one who has problems with the graphics. I myself saw them in Bidule, Metro and even Logic. They are not as noticeable but they are there. If you want to check it out yourself, here you go:

Bidule: Make a StepSequencer Object, open it and edit it, you will see that the whole window will mess up while you edit.
Metro: Open the list editor (I don't know how its called there), sometimes the whole window is not drawn. (I have checked this as 10.3 came out, maybe they have fixed it as there were updates)
Logic: Record Midi Controller Data with an external Midi gear. You see some strange redrawings in the arrange page. (This was version 6.3.1, so maybe they have fixed it)

And even the Camino webbrowser which is coded in Cocoa suffers from bad graphics bugs.

So long, have a nice new year.

And here are Georg's workarounds from the Cubase.net forum:

If you want to repair the uncomplete transport bar double hit F2.
If you want to repair the unclompete mixer doublehit F3.
In general: All windows that can be closed can be refreshed by closing and re-opening (e.g. Inspector sections).

If you want to repair all tracks at once click on the vertical zoom fader (or better: create a shortcut for "Zoom In [or Out] Vertical").

If you want to refresh all buttons of a single track simply select this track by clicking on it (when it is unselected!): When you hit a point where no button is hidden (lower left corner) all buttons will show up again. On selected tracks Shift/click will be your friend.
