I haven't seen a way to reset this to factory settings. Anybody?

Thanks for the help! I found it shortly after I posted.

I'm using the 828MKII with a G4 DP450 on OSX 10.2.8 with the latest MOTU updates and I get pops and audio drop outs or sometimes a high-pitched whine during the drop outs. I have reinstalled OSX 10.2 and it is better, but still the same problems.

Here is the an email I sent to MOTU tech support:

"After a few bars/seconds of recording at either 44.1 or 48, the audio drops out a I hear a high pitched whine for a second and the audio will come back. Then I get the message,

"Error while trying to synch audio to MIDI.
Sample Rate 48000 recognized.
Check conflict between Logic Platinum and external device."

Then after a few more attempts, the sample rate will drop back to 44.1 again."

Here is MOTU's reply:

"Hi Randy,
Sorry to keep you waiting - I just want to let you know that I am on this
case. Have you already tried different firewire ports of the 828 and the
computer as well as firewire cables?
You are running this 828mk2 on internal clock? Or something different?
