I'm not sure how FruityLoops works, but...

I just got Plugsound Vol 4 Hiphop&R'nB Toolkit. It has some dope-ass drum sounds (and keys, bass, etc.), plus a lot of drum loops, and it was pretty cheap. It's basically a really simple sample player, and works as a plug-in. I've been using it from within DP4.1, and I like it a lot so far. The reverb sucks though, and the software has the "challenge/response" hassle. Supposedly you can access the samples from MachFive too, but I haven't gotten that to work yet. I think they have a Drums and Percussion volume too.

As a side-note, I considered getting Battery from Native Instruments, but after browsing NI's forums for a while, I don't think I'll ever buy anything from them.

Prost
