I have G3(OS 9.1), pro tools free v5.01, a Mackie 1202, mixer, a few quality mikes... is this enough *stuff* to do some *acoustic recordings*.. what about latency issue.. i relaize all this stuff has probably been covered.. but can someone point me in the right direction.. so that I can get up and running...

I'm all set up to record and Pro Tools tells me my hard disk is fragmented... is there any way to reduce the size of the fre disk space Pro Tools need to record a 3 to 4 track project...
I'm uder the impression the PT Free works without a Digidesign sound card... but havn't got far enough along in the process to see if it does or not... Uncle Gomey |
