Hi,
Im helping my brother out. he is a musician, and wants to by an eMac (g4/700), but he is otherwise computer iliterate. Unfortunately, I dont know the first thing about making music on a mac. What Id like help with is, if an eMac, Cubase and a Yamaha cs1x are a viable solution, and what would be required to make it work. Thanx Jas |

the answer to this question really depends on the budget !
most people would probably agree that you should start with motu though. a further thought here is that you should maybe decide which sequencer you're 'gonna use first.  loads of choice out there though. start reading the associated magazines and related websites
