i bought a dual 867 g4 second hand and had osx installed on it and it hasnt got classic on it at all i have no disks or anything so i installed on a new hard drive os 9.2.1 using my g3 took it out installed it in my g4 but cant get it to boot from it how can i do it
because when i tried to install 9.2.1 on same drive as osx it will not let me help can anyone help? also i cant get computer to turn off fully fan keeps on going and going?

Try to boot from the 9.2.1 cd using method mentionen in 5a:). If your computer boot up on the CD, then you can install at least OS 9.2.2, on it
If you're computer wont -- then you're hosed. Buying secondhand without the original cd:s, that accompanied the computer was stupid. You might have bought stolen goods. Cheers: Dixiechicken -------------------- ==================
