I have a Midiman USB Midisport 1x1, and it used to work connected to my USB keyboard outlet.
Now it only works with the main USB outlet on my PowerMacG4 Cube. The problem is that to plug it into the cube I have to unplug the speakers. Why is it not worrking anymore? Help!!! |

I can't tell you why it does not work that way any more. It has been found that the midi sport pretty much needs to have a dedicated port to work. I've been getting away with running my 2X2 through a hub, but nothing else is being used on that hub at the same time as the midisport. You might try putting the cube to sleep and then plugging the midisport into the keyboard. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
