I just purchased a MAC G4 Dual 450/640mb, ect. I also have a pc with a SHITLOAD of PLUGINS.
For Example, Native Waves GOld Bundle, Time Bandit, Orange Vocoder, Tc Electronics Plug-ins, Bitheadz Pharazer, Native Pro52 model synth, Tons of VST/ DirectX plugins, Waldorf Attack, Steinberg Model E, Alboretu-Hyperism, Steinberg Mastering edition, Waldorf PPG Wave V2, Prosoniq Time Factory, Ect. I would never have enough room to list them all.
I am using Cubase VST 5 for sequencer. I know I will probably have to buy the Mac version for cubase for it to run on the mac, because I don't think the pc version will run on the mac. My question is if I buy the Mac version of Cubase could I use all of these plug-ins with the mac version of cubase just by transferring the plug-ins from my pc to my mac. Or is there a seperate version(mac and pc) for these plug-ins.
I though that plug-ins can be used on either platform as long as the sequencer that is using them is for that specific platform. If you can help with this question in any way I would greatly appreciate it. I would hate to have to buy all new mac versions of these plug-ins(over $5,000).

Yeah it's out there, it hasn't been upgraded for 2 years though and only supports VST1, but most plugs work fine.

at the opcode site all of needed files are not present. It was intended for previous owners.

Check the Opcode users group http://www.topica.com/lists/opcode-users/

Some where in the list is the link to the Vision users site where the needed files are posted.

I had given up on Vision when I lost my hard drive and I wasn't going to pay $30 for a new response code for unsupported software.

When I first learned about the freeware Opcode still had the demo version posted. The demo contained the needed support files.

The current download contains the Pace protetection free app.

When you get the demo replace the demo app with the new one from Opcode, make sure that you have the correct Arcadia sound engine for your processor, and you're in business.
