I just purchased a MAC G4 Dual 450/640mb, ect. I also have a pc with a SHITLOAD of PLUGINS.
For Example, Native Waves GOld Bundle, Time Bandit, Orange Vocoder, Tc Electronics Plug-ins, Bitheadz Pharazer, Native Pro52 model synth, Tons of VST/ DirectX plugins, Waldorf Attack, Steinberg Model E, Alboretu-Hyperism, Steinberg Mastering edition, Waldorf PPG Wave V2, Prosoniq Time Factory, Ect. I would never have enough room to list them all.
I am using Cubase VST 5 for sequencer. I know I will probably have to buy the Mac version for cubase for it to run on the mac, because I don't think the pc version will run on the mac. My question is if I buy the Mac version of Cubase could I use all of these plug-ins with the mac version of cubase just by transferring the plug-ins from my pc to my mac. Or is there a seperate version(mac and pc) for these plug-ins.
I though that plug-ins can be used on either platform as long as the sequencer that is using them is for that specific platform. If you can help with this question in any way I would greatly appreciate it. I would hate to have to buy all new mac versions of these plug-ins(over $5,000).
