i'm new to mac (been on pc's for years) and was wondering which drive's would be best with the firewire 800 connection, the ATA 100 or 133. I just purchased the power mac dual 1.25 and i'll be running both motu 96 and 192 modules in the studio. as i am in the midst of reconfigging the studio i would like to get it right the first time around.
thanks for your input g |

too new to tell
google doesn't help either But even oxford 911 wasn't 100% ok for pro work (we have had extensive tests in the French section). But it was ok for back up or exchanging big files for example. This said, it's not _that_ bad, just that accuracy at sample level is not perfect. There SCSI rules, then IDE. And not everyone is behind a PT HD in need of 100% accuracy for motion picture soundtracks. For individuals and up to some advertisement jobs it's ok. -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home
