After a few days trying to figure out how to get the M-Audio Quattro to work....just an hour ago, finally....it works.
Well... I'm using a G4 733 mhz and got it to work on OS 9.2. I have a Roland RS-5 and a Roland MC-303 Groovebox hooked up. I was about to give up because I couldn't get it to work and Midiman has now gotten my vote for #1 company with tech support that never responds to e-mail. At first with the OMS, I kept getting the piano screen with the questionmark and then nada. This time I deleted everything and started from scratch and noticed that this time the 'Audiosport Quattro' actually showed up in the OMS and changed the digit to '1' instead of 0 and did a test audio and got the 'midi received'. Fortunately, since I'm new to using a MAC, I have the Cakewalk Metro 5 software which came from the Midiman controller. So, I guess I won't give up on the Quattro just yet. |
