Hey there!
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I'd like to know how I can enable 8-track rec in Logic 5.5 with the MOTU 896. You cannot enable all 8 in the MOTU console only AES/EBU 1-2 or analog 1-2, 3-4 etc. Thanks, Schack |

in logic, open your track mixer to your "track" page.
If you want 8 mono tracks make sure that you have your tracks set to mono for the ones you want to record to. Set the inputs of these objects so that they are input 1 for your first track, input 2 for your second, input 3 for your third, etc...... The input is selected in the box above the track output (below the sends). For stereo tracks you select input 1-2, input 3-4 etc... Click on the "REC" enable button for each of the tracks. Now when you hit record on the transport window you should be recording 8 tracks. |
