Hi,

LIVE 6

I'm looking for the way to change sound via midi controller like in mainstage

So, I would like to affect a button to UP and another to DOWN sounds or tracks.

Is it possible ?

It is possible, but how?

As far as I know, you assign a midi message (changing volume or any parameter)
to a switch, ON/OFF, temporarily ON/OFF, On while pressed, and reverse, or to a pedal with parameter values from 0 to 127 floating,
well, hopefully.

For example, any other brand will do, a Roland FC-300 with assignable switches and 2 pedals sends midi messages to an Axon AX-50 USB (a digital guitar) and from there to channel strips in Logic 8 or any other sequencer program.

Assume, every unit is working as a stand-alone unit, some work together partially.

The next question is, how to setup
