Hello everybody, this is my first post here. I had a question that may seem a little green (I'm new to this). I just bought the FA-66 interface and want to know if there's any way I can get my guitar and mic to record in stereo. Right now it just records left or right depending on what input I use. I'm recording into Ableton's Live 7. Is there a way I can do this or do I have to do it manually using the program? (I'm assuming it can do it, but have yet to try and figure it out) Thanks for any help.

Yes, you could do what is mentioned and it will work well. You can also double the track and bump it a tick, pan one to the left and one to the right and ouila! Stereo!

Might I ask why you're wanting to record in stereo? My first inclination is to think that you're recording these one track at a time, but on playback are only hearing things from the left or right. If this is the case, check to make sure that you have set the track up to record in Mono. On playback you'll hear it out of both speakers. Now, if you're truly wanting a stereo recording, I've found a good thing to do is torecord two separate tracks trying to duplicate the performance. The natural inaccuracies will provide a very nice chorus effect when panned in the mix. Also, why not have the vocals front and center from one Mono recording. Best of luck!
