Hi,

Please, to anyone using the keyboard version of the Neuron, could you say for how long have you had it, the use it is having in your studio and if it is worth it?

All the demos I heard on the net are ambient, also, it is always the same "metallic" sounds I hear; Is that the only use you can have from it?

Thanks in advance for eventual replies.

Is it still posible to find the MODELmaker soft somewhere on the net?

well...*every* digital hardware synth is "just a PC in a keyboard box". this particular box is quite nice and has a lot of controls on it, though ;-)

it does take a while to boot, i presume because it has so many controls to initialise on startup. still faster on booting than my mac however.

I mean that hartman is based on a pc architecture(bios that boots the hdd system, mainboard, irq etc.), such aproch isn't very common in synthesizers design (more in samplers). Neuron is expensive, and pcs/midi keyboards are cheap, so the only thing you pay for is the program :/
