Nuendo 3, Help!! My Audio Recordings sound static and unclear! Options

[b]Ive been using nuendo 3 and am still trying to find out why when i record my synthesizer through nuendo it sounds static and unclear ( like the volumes to high but the recording is quite ) plz if i could have any help at all it would be real great
