I haven't had an opportunity to sit down and really dissect this problem, but here a brief description of what happened.

I started a session in the morning before work and left it for the day. When I returned in the evening to start work on it again I hit the space bar for playback and as the song played all the tracks simultaneously muted then unmuted and continued to toggle like this throughtout the 8 bar loop.

I first looked to see if something had been automated in, to no avail, nor were any of my controllers obstructed or being touched at all for that matter.

Any thoughts on this? Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I'm going to spend sometime tonight really getting into it, but if someone knows of a quick fix that would be really great.

Thanks for taking the time!!

Yo, Strype!!! Yep, it has happened to me on "Several" occassions. It usually happened if Track(s) were on Solo. A Message from Logic states "Session Timed Out". A Restart has "always" Restored to the "Last Arrange".

If you're going to be "Gone 'all' day" don't leave your Program open. I usually go to take a "Short Break" and wake up six hours later"... It happens... But, I'd advise not leaving your Computer on all day, for no reason... All the Software Programs "Restore" quickly, so save yourself a lot of headaches "It's better to warm up a Cold computer than a frozen one".

I work with Logic Pro and a Dual 2GHz G5 it has proven itself 100%. I can't imagine ever changing to another "Set-Up". I do mostly Audio. 78 Tracks of smoking "Real Music" not that MIDI is not "Real"... It is, I love MIDI, but I'm not that good of a musician to pull off a complete MIDI Song. An Engineer I work with does not seem to have any problems with MIDI on my computer.

"Good" not "Cheap" Interfaces/multiface(s) are a must for Transfering. They can also cause that "Frozen" Thang.

If you can find a "Good" one "Cheap" you've yourself got a deal... However, people with "Good" ones keep them... If you find a "Cheap" one for sale... wait an extra week or two and buy a "NEW" "cheap" one... You'll still want a "Good" one... I don't have to promote any Brand... They are the ones you want but think we can't afford... You'll save endless hours crying and dying with "Cheap" gear. I can't tell you how many posts I've seen about "Cheap" Interfaces, you know the one's I'm speaking of??? Save your money, Buy "Good" buy once.

Strype, my son, go forth Grasshopper create trouble free music and make the Planet sing your tunes in one voice... Oh, and don't leave your computer running all day unattended!!!! Naughty... May peace be with you. Trying to be funny with the Grasshopper Kung-Fu thang... No offence...
