Hi all i have a new macpro 2.66 .

I am having audio problems the signal is never consistant it is always cutting in and out and is not working i think it has something to do with the processor

i was told by a audio dude that it could be cycle proccessor anyone got a similar problem ???/
or anyone know how to disable the cycle proccessor ?? or fix this problem ???

hey
so I am wondering how to get to the Processor Prefpanel where you have a "disable nap" option, that's it.
Note it'll disable internal power management in the CPU so it'll eat power all the time.

I installed CHUD and can not figure out how to disbale nap

could you enlighten me

thanks took awhile but haven't had problem in a while got chud tools
dont know where the guy disable that thing but its not comin up now so yeah thanks all
