The 410 has never really worked. Every driver has some kind of issue. Hanging MIDI notes; Loss of audio monitoring, being just the most recent things. It's well spec'd, but doesn't deliver. They've had long enough to get it right..

I need something with solid dependability, low latency and the usual. I'll move away from Cubase and Garageband and get a new DAW.

WHAT'S GOOD?

MBox 2 Pro? At least it'd come with a good DAW..
or
MOTU UltraLite? and maybe get Logic Express or something?..

Greetings!

This may be too late, but I recommend purchasing your gear from a vendor that will give you support when things go awry. Here in the U.S., I buy all my gear from Full Compass Systems, Ltd. <http://www.fullcompass.com/>; they may not be as cheap as some of the vendors, but if I have a problem I can call them and get knowledgable people who have spent hours helping me. Their website isn't the best, but their phone support is. And, no, I don't work for them.

Good luck!
