let me put it simple. I am using Logic on osx. I have never used Logic for os9. I have no idea what VST is, and I dont care, since I won't be able to use it, unless its "carbonized", whatever this means.
So, do I HAVE to dish out another 300 dollars just to get new sounds? I have a friend who uses FruityLoops ( I know, on a PC ) and he gets whole libraries for free somehow... whats the alternative on macs? should I go back to os9 just to get free samples and sounds? or do I have to wait until a VST substitute comes out? Because a day (soon) will come when I get tired of my keyboards built-in sounds... And a 30-day trial ( for the exs24, etc. ) is still a 30-day trial. -------------------- "history repeats itself, so the best thing to do is rewrite the future"

VST refers to plugins such as FX and virtual instruments, OSX uses audiounits for plugs. Getting free sounds has nothing to do with VST or audiounits though or what type of system you are using... getting free sounds is either provided by company you buy your software from or dependent on how resourceful you are on the net. I have literally found hundreds of free audio samples on the net. Just do searches for "audio samples" at excite or something.
