I have a MacBook Pro, just bought a Edirol PC-80 and downloaded the driver that is on the website, as my first attempt to use the keyboard failed, because the drivers that come in the CD only work with PowerPC processors. I followed the instructions included in the readme file, and PCR or something similar wasn't displayed in the Audio MIDI Setup dialog box. I don't know what else to try, but find it strange that the mac doesn't react when i plug the keyboard to it through the USB cable. Please help me or i'll have to return the keyboard to the store.
Thanks. |

First of all thanks for your help.
I did use the AC adaptor to power the keyboard, but it happened as i described. I did as you said, and checked the hardware on the system profiler, and with the controller turned on ti shows up like this: USB Bus General Purpose USB Hub PC-80 PC-80 Apple Internal Keyboard / Trackpad I guess that showing up as a general purpose hub after i installed the driver isn't much of a good sign.. I also can't figure why it is on the same Bus as the Trackpad and the Keyboard. I really don't want to return the keyboard, i tested it on my brother's PC, running windows, it worked perfectly, and i really liked its performance. But i guess that if this doesn't get solved quickly, that's what i'll have to do. Please help! Edit: I pluged the USB cable on the other USB port and it appeared on another Bus, all by itself. I guess that isn't part of the problem then. Ce message a été modifié par jvpinheiro - dim. 3 déc. 2006, 18:24. |
