Hi everyone smile.gif
Im new to this forum so be gentle! I recently made the change from PCs to the Power Mac G5
I build pcs as a sideline so i know the ins and outs of them, So heres my dilema I need some advice on audio software for the Mac G5.
On PCs im used to using Sonys Soundforge 8 for editing/mastering and ACID PRO 5 for mixing down, whats the best software on a mac to use??? sad.gif

i need to be able to mix audio tracks together,but quite a lot of tracks and sound samples,Please if anyone can help i would be gratefull, (I feel like im having to start at the begining AGAIN sad.gif )

In my book if you want to get up and running with audio on your mac or pc, don't play Mackie's Tracktion 2 short, it has pretty much everything you need but with out all the open windows as in Logic, Pro-tools, etc.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST IT DOESN'T COST AN ARM AND 3 LEGS!!!
