I currently use Logic 7.2.1. When I open a new Logic file I often go to the "Audio"/"Loop browser" and drag in a drum loop to track to. I have the Apple "Jam Pack" Rhythm section plug in and I imagine that is where alot of the drum loops come from. But I think some come from Garage Band as well. Well anyhow the drum loop sounds clean, uneffected, and as if you were standing right there in the room where the drummer played.

If I close the file and start another one then go to the Loop Browser the drum loops now sound as if they were put through a "tape delay" or "hollow" effect. Keep in mind that I have no effects on this new file yet. The track that I drag the drum loop to is clean. Many times it is a new file I've just started and other times I'm opening an existing file but again I can find no "delay" settings on any tracks or the output or the inputs.

If I close Logic, the application, completely and then reopen it and then open a file the drums go back to being pristine and uneffected. This is similar to a transpose glitch I have where Midi instrument tracks come up transposed but when I close Logic and reboot the track is in tune again.

Any ideas?
