hi everybody. my motu 828 mk2 is not working. it freezes right after i turn it on. i've tried in every possible way ... but no use. can anyone help me out ? thanks.

You can reset the 828 MkII to default settings in the following way (as provided from the MOTU support page):
Follow these steps to restore the 828mkII to Factory Default Settings. Disconnect the firewire cable from the 828mkII Press the Setup knob Turn the Setup knob all the way to the right Press the Select knob Press the Value knob Power off the interface and plug the firewire cable back in Power the interface back on The same steps can be followed to restore the Factory Default Settings on a Traveler. http://www.motu.com/techsupport/technotes/...iew?searchterm= -------------------- "...I just don't know...it sounds funny."

I could have found it on my own, but I didn't even think to look for it when my buddy's 828 fritzed out. It came back on it's own after a few days, but that might have sped up the process.
