sometimes I use hyperdraw on regions then also use track automation(yellow line on track in arrange window) on the same track. Questiion: How do the two interact and how should I handle this aspect of volume control? I use volumn automation with these methods.. have tried a fader assigned to it through midi control (yamaha promix 1), but actually prefer tweaking with these arrange window lines. I just need to sort out how they interact and if I should just use one or the other..
advice?

You have to go in and delete the nodes, or drag and drop the same audio region from the audio page.

No it's not a bug it work the way it was intended to. Hyperedit can only be displayed on one track or region at a time. It's just if you turn the display off, you risk creating automation that will be overridden.

I only use it if I'm using several instances of a region and that the automation effects the actual performance of the part played.

otherwise I use track automation, so I can view the automation of several tracks.
