I'm a drummer and I want to create my own MIDI click tracks in pro tools using external drum machines and/or reason redrum. How to do this? Some engineers know how to do this and others don't. I need a surefire solution so I can explain to folks in the studio and make it happen. PT stock clicks suck for playing to. I've got a session next week. Please help.

that's one obvious solution, but it seems like a work-around for the problem. there has to be a more direct and easier way, especially considering you might want to track a song at several different tempos--obviously you could TCEX the recorded click in this case--but this all seems like an inelegant solution.
