Best Field Mic, outdoor fx captures

Member Groupe : Validating Messages : 83 Inscrit : 05 août 03 Lieu : CA Membre n^o 22,521	Hi, I have a tascam dap1 mostly to record outdoor fx's in any conditions. In the last years, I used a rode nt1a and a rode nt4. Both of these mics were great to capture sound effects but I think I would be better off with a shotgun mic. I need a mic that can resist to wind blows as well as avoid sound artifacts from too much shaking. I dont intentionnaly capture sounds in bad weather conditions but sometimes i goota do what i gotta do. I need advice on good mics that could capture pristine sound effects as well as somewhat resist to wind blows in diaphragms and too much shaking. any idea people? tx -------------------- you wish!!!!

But I'll purchase one sometimes this year... Does anyone makes field sampling? what mics are you using? -------------------- you wish!!!!
