o.k.... everythings been good until i get a staticy ticking poppy sound after i've been monitoring an instrument (guitar, keyboard) for fifteen minutes or so. this is my first encounter with this. Latency hasn't never been a problem. I'm using a forebox into a powerbook. this has been a real inspiration killer. has anyone ever experienced this? Any thoughts would be a great help, thanks!

It sounds like a buffer setting issue. The only problem is as you increase your buffer settings you increase latency. I would try to increasing the settings one selection at a time then checing to see if you can still record without hearing latency.Keep repeating these steps until you find a place that you start to hear latency when you record then go back one step from there and see if that helps with the ticking sound. Thats the only thing I can think of now. Good luck
