Hello
I've made some multitrack recordings in garageband 2, and apart from cumbersomely exporting a stereo/mono two-by-two/one-by-one mixdown to iTunes, i can't find a way to export all the tracks in a sensible way. As the tracks are obviously in the project, how do I get my "hands" on them in a smarter way ?

Boy, do I have a clever answer for you wink.gif this one has truly saved my butt.

First, lock all of your tracks by clicking on the tiny lock icon for each one and then playing the song. This renders all effects onto the track and creates a single AIFF file for each one. But WHERE?!

Here's the fancy trick: each audio track has been embedded into the GarageBand song file itself.

Go into the finder, right-click (control-click) on the song itself, and choose "show package contents." Another finder window will open displaying the actual data contained within your track.

Inside there you'll find a folder called "Freeze Files." This is where you'll find a single AIFF for each track of your GarageBand song, ready to be imported into any other audio program!

Pretty nifty, trick, no?
