hello
this is my first post ...ahem ...
i running logic platinum on a G4 duel processor , if I try to play back my seven track audio song i get the error ... CORE AUDIO DISK TOO SLOW OR SYSTEM OVERLOAD ( -10010) I don't have anuthing else running , is it just the internal sound card ? not powerful enough ? I'm a new mac and logic user so eh... help please ....ta
oh yeah ..

Machine Model:Power Mac G4
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (2.9)
Number Of CPUs: 2
CPU Speed: 500 MHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 1 MB
Memory: 512 MB
Bus Speed: 100 MHz
Boot ROM Version: 4.28f1

maybe I should mention that when I load this song I get a 'creating overview for ...." each audio track ,this is the small progress bar window on the top left cornor of my arrange window, followed by a
'read/write does not allow writing Result code -61 ' this happens for each audio track in the song.

this is your problem. The plugins you are using, and at the same time, are very heavy going. Although memory will aid to a limit what is required is more processing power. No short straws here i'm affraid.

The meter on the left will indicate CPU usage, while th one on th right indicates disk usage I think, can't be too sure as I've been using nuendo for a while now. Any, this is where the PC guys have been moving ahead in leaps and bounds with their dual dual core opterons and athlon X2 CPUs. The following site gives greater indication of what I mean:

With the machine you have I would advise that you freeze the instrument tracks and see how things go from there.
