Newbie Groupe : Members Messages : 1 Inscrit : 24 oct. 03 Lieu : Albany - US Membre n^o 27,381	I am a singer/songwriter looking to record my next album. It will only consist of vocals and acoustic guitar. I currently have this setup: iMac G5 M-Audio MobilePre preamp I have some elcheapo mics right now, and I want to get something better. I'm looking to spend about 100 bucks. Any suggestions?

Advanced Member Groupe : Members Messages : 479 Inscrit : 08 mai 05 Lieu : Portland - US Membre n^o 65,373	Shure beta 57' s or 58's are the workman's dynamic mics- that being said I really like my Blue Ball (phantom powered though) & one day I tried mic'ing my guitar amp with an Audix (F10- I think) dynamic that was from their "drum pack") & had really good results, so Audix mics are generally a pretty good gamble as well.
