Maybe, I'm an idiot, but does Logic Pro seem rather clumsy in the merging of multiple audio regions into one large region? In Pro Tools, I can do this task very quickly and easily, but the only way I can do this is by using the "glue" tool.
Can anyone provide me with some advice? Should I stick to Pro Tools, or continue with Logic Pro 7? I thought Logic Pro would be just as easy as Pro Tools, but that is not proving to be the case. Thanks, Albert. |

Thanks for your replies. There is no question, that I am trying to use Logic Pro in a similar fashion as Pro Tools. Since my main mode of operation is recording multi-track audio (bands), then mixing and remixing, I am trying to force this type of workflow on Logic Pro. I also do a reasonable amount of editing and audio manipulation.
Since you folks are more experienced in the using Logic Pro effectively and efficiently, do you have any suggestions on these audio editing procedures: 1) Tab-to-Transient, there is a button which allows the cursor to move to the next transient in an audio region, such as a snare track. So, I can tab then select a sub-region and create a loop. 2) Snap the beginning of a region on a track to the end of another region on another track. 3) Snap the beginning of a region on a track to the beginning of another region on another track. Thanks, Albert. |
