Maybe, I'm an idiot, but does Logic Pro seem rather clumsy in the merging of multiple audio regions into one large region? In Pro Tools, I can do this task very quickly and easily, but the only way I can do this is by using the "glue" tool.

Can anyone provide me with some advice? Should I stick to Pro Tools, or continue with Logic Pro 7?

I thought Logic Pro would be just as easy as Pro Tools, but that is not proving to be the case.

Thanks,
Albert.

I guess that depends somewhat on what you're trying to do. Logic is not ProTools. You may want to try to NOT use Logic in the same way you would Protools

If I had a whole track of regions I wanted to merge into a single audio file I would
1. click on the track to select them all
2. option click or right click and select the glue tool
3. click on the objects to create the new , merged audio file.

that takes, literally, about 2.5 seconds. and if you use the "merge" key command you can shave another 1 second off of that.

but i'd probably just leave them as regions unless I wanted to export the track as an audio file to give to someone else.
A more common work flow for me is to pack the various sections or track groupings into folders.
