Cdr Dropout, problem with cdr playback Options

Hi anyone

Had an email notice that someone had responded to my request re any method of preventing or at least improving playback of cdr's but when I logged in there was nothing- so here goes again...I know there are often compatibility probs but nothing I burn on my G4 is escaping without significant dropouts/skipping . Is there anything that can be done about this as I have a large number of cd's to burn to send out and dont want the quality to be so erratic
