Hello all,
I've been up all night , but here is the problem. 14 or so traks of audio in Cubase in a pc laptop. need to import tracks to dp4 on a mac. I've had no problems opening a song in cubase, getting wav. files, having them show up in dp4. My problem is that the files that were punched in or recorded latter in the song do not show up in the right timeline areas. Any ideas on how to make the song show up the same on both programs? This would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. By the way "yes" none of the tracks are labeled right, but that's my clients fault not mine. |

I don't know of any type of program that would do what you are asking. What is normally done in these types of situations is the tracks are bounced or consolidated into a single file in the orginal program all starting from the same point. After that it's a simple matter of importing the consolidated files into the program you plan on working with and lining them up at the same starting point if neccessary. I don't know Cubase that well but most DAW's have some option where you highlight the entire track and consolidate the file. Check the file or edit menu in Cubase. There is also soloing the track and bouncing.......by the way not very fun at all to do. Check this link out I think they tell you what you need to do. The best suggestions are closer to the end I think.
