Is this whine that you are speaking of coming through the speakers? I just purchased a Firebox and I am getting this sound through my monitors that sounds like the computer's frequency(best i can describe?) and when I press or depress the mouse or move it over the tool bar the sound changes? Is this what you guys are speaking about? is it the presonus stuff? I was using an imic with the same monitors and it was dead silent....i am using an imac g4 1.25/usb2.0/17 inch. do i need chud?
