THE DIGI 002!!
IT'S HERE...OR RATHER - IT WILL BE SOON. GO LOOK - you all know where. AND here i was all set to go super portable with a rackmount 896 and a suped up powerbook. this has set my decision making process back like three or four months i am now that convinced i will never have final decisions about my studio. i searched the forums and didn't see any other posts about this yet. gosh and GAHHH!!! DIGI 002. |

Oh, yeah, I can knock the unit.
One word: proprietary. Yes, I do share packrat_17's "general disgust" for Digidesign and their imperial ways. Reminds me of the way cattle are prodded into chutes. The 001 still sits way overpriced for what it offers in my opinion, and the specs for the 002 haven't bowled me over with any "gee-whiiz" factor. I'm looking at the Event EZbus, but that's in another thread... |
