I am looking into purchasing a laptop for audio/video reasons. I want to always have access to my music at all times since I am on the road alot. Mostly I edit, arrange and mixed down songs. So I was wondering is the TiPB up to the challange? I hear that Apple is the way to go in the creative aspects in using a computer. But the highest speed the TiPb offers as of now is only 800 mhz. Do any of you use your Tipb in a recording studio? If so what are the specs of your laptop? Is 800 mhz fast enough? If you use any audio software programs ie. cakewalk, logic and or cubase....how well is Tipb with these programs? Plus anyone using the Tipb for editing video I would like to know what programs do you use and how effective is your Tipb holding up here as well? Don't forget the specs.... Last but not least what are some of the drawbacks to owning a tipb, I know this is a mac forum but let's be fair.... I hear the paint chips real easy and something about screens warping... I really need to know these things before making such a investment......
