Digi 002, using Pro tools or Logic pro 7 Options

haj everyone!
i have G4 (1.42 dual) and i am doing most of my work for TV(documentaries, news). i am using Final cut pro and now i am looking for audio solution.
i was thinking of buying DIGI 002 and then i heard that it could run on Logic.
does anyone have some insights about using DIGI and what would be better solution. or you could advise me on something else .

I do quite a bit of TV scoring work.
I use 3 systems. My main system for all important audio is a ProTools
HD3 setup on a G4 and system 9.2.2. Because the audio aspect is so important,
I use this system with Apogee X series converters and much outboard gear.
For inside work and creative impulse things, I run Logic 7 Pro, Pt 6.4, Live, Sampletank, Reason and anything else that I can cram onto my G4 laptop.
I have a Digi 002 and an MBox for travel.
I find the laptop stuff to be creative, inspireing and fun!

In the end, if something is critical, I bring all of the tracks into PTHD3 for final mix.
The Digi 002 will work fine with Logic etc...
I find Logic a bit cumbersome for strait up, synched, frame locked mixing but it is fun
and a very deep app.
Usually, your creative decisions are made before the mix so you can create in Logic and mix in ProTools. ProTools can be a very creative tool as well but doesn't come with all the midi instruments or implementation that Logic does. They both work fine with re wire and the Digi boxes..
If you are running either audio program and Final Cut on the same computer, you will need as much RAM as you can afford. I prefer seperate computers.
