Pro Tools 6.7 does have a number of new MIDI features since 6.4, such as Beat Detective, the ability to time-stretch MIDI data, a Step Input mode, a very cool Tempo control section, and others. My favorite new thing is regarding patch names. I use a Roland Fantom-S88, and to have access to patch names, I had to modify an existing patch names document extensively to match my patches. Once this was configured in 6.4, the banks showed up with an obscure serial number, not the bank name, which was a pain - in 6.7, it appears Digidesign fixed this, as the Bank list shows the real Bank names now. In my opinion, 6.7's MIDI improvements are basically catching up to other sequencer's features. I can't say it handles MIDI better, but 6.7 does offer more options (I've been using Pro Tools' MIDI features since v5.0). What specific problems are you having?
