i have an ibook and use a griffin imic to input audio via the usb port.
lately, i have noticed an intermittent audible "pulse", isolated to the left channel, which happens about every 10 seconds. it happens whether i'm using Garage Band or Felttip.com's Sound Studio. has anyone else encountered this particular issue? is anyone aware of a work-around? thanks for the reply... it's not my first time with the imic... i am unaware of what may have changed in my "set up"... i am using a mackie 24 * 8 mixer (analog)... i am coming out of the "studio out" and then into the imic... i am not coming back out of the imic at all... i have determined that the issue is not isolated to just that mixing board... i ran a test in another location with a different mixer... same "pulse" was present... thanks again. lepetitmartien... yes, when i plug headphones into the audio out jack on the ibook, i can hear the pulse... thanks. |
