one way is just select your first groups of audio or midi regions in the beginning and then goto hyperdraw in the menus and set it to view volume and just draw yourself a fade in for each region on the start you want faded in which is nice because you can fade in different tracks differently if you like.

you can also do this by automating the master fader for outputs 1&2 as well but I don't use this method much so couldn't really explain without showing. wink.gif

are you trying to fade in sequenced data or audio tracks? if you are working with audio tracks, you can use the 'fade' tool, which is a > with a box around it in the toolbox. this is probably safer than editing the actual audio file.

if its midi data you are going to have to automate the volume parameter for that channel.

Thanks all,

I am actually just using midi tracks, no audio tracks. I finally figured out how to do the flying fader thing, but don't really like that way. I will have to try the hyperdraw method.
