I'm assuming you are using OS X (being on a new mac and also successfully installing hdsp_11.tar)? You don't need to install ASIO as it is not needed in OS X. OS 9 uses ASIO, OS X uses "Core Audio". Also you shouldn't need to flash your card (this flash upgrade is for ASIO only; I think ) The version 2.0 driver in the read me file refers to the driver for OS 9. So you have already installed all you need! You should have a "Hammerfall DSP Mixer" and "Hammerfall DSP Settings" Make sure you have added both these programs to ’System Preferences/Login Items’. Using the option ’Hide’ both programs stay minimized in the Dock when booting.
