Hi, All,
I'm a newbie to all this audio stuff. Feedback please on mixers with XLR inputs for recording my seminars. Someone recommended the Shure SCM268. Other ideas? MBox is too expensive for me. Thanks. Coach Cubas |

Have a look at Tascam's US-122. Goes for about $200 (USD).

well depends on whether you want quality or want to save $$$
If you want quality XLR preamps and low background noise.... I would consider a Mackie mixer. They have many models with different amount of channels and the pro models have some of the best mic-preamps in the business. Stay away from Fostex if you want good quality sound. I had a digital Fostex that was ok for the price but was unsaitisfied with quality as it added background noise to everything. -------------------- ----------------------------------------
