sounds like what is sometimes called a 'FEATURE' hehe or at least thats what we used to call those sort of manageable issues that creep into workflows sometimes.

But..............I tried your setup - cut and pasted the strips to a new layer. You're correct!! They "disappear" - it seems they get transported to a different layer. I have a 2nd environment window open with another layer shown, and the "lost" strip appeared there!! The solution would be to keep your audio strips all on their original layer. I'd report this Apple - this is most certainly a bug in my opinion. Regards - Colin
