I've been a Protools user and OS9 for the past few years. Once the talk of OSX being the next generation in stability started (and more recently the ultimate Pro Audio/MIDI OS), I was all ears. So when do you reckon we can expect...
Logic Audio 5 OSX (Native) with practically zero latency monitoring @ 96k, with true dual processor support for the new DP Macs? It's not too much to ask is it? Any takers. |

Looking at the specs of Core Audio you just may get that and more. Don't forget Altivec enabled as well. Apple is using as much tech as possible to create a compelling solution. Hopefully future versions of Logic will support mLAN because i'll have a Presonus Firestation by next year. |
