QUOTE (booyakabass @ Tue 23 May 2006, 08:50) Ok, i'm waiting , waiting, waiting....yawn yawn yawn!
I bought a Macbook and Logic Express 7.2 only to find that it won't work with Reason 2.5 via rewire...so is there an update to 7.2.2 for LE or do i have to purchase an update, or is it new softwarte all together
....whats going on ? Anyone know?
cheers Based on the very limited information you provided, I'd guess you're doing something wrong. Describe "won't work". How are you trying it? Have you done this before? The more detail you give, the easier it will be for one of the smarties here to help. There is a new version of ReWire on the Propellerheads website, you might give that a shot. www.propellerheads.se

I think you mean Logic Express 7.2.1, since the update for logic pro came out a while ago... nobody EVER knows whats going on with Apple and their software. Thats the only thing i dislike about them (well, besides that their technicians put my powerbook back together wrong last time i sent it in and now it wont sleep when i close it...) Apple really needs to just fix all these little bugs in Logic and I'm not upgrading my quite functioning logic pro 6.4 until they do. Sounds like we need a Logic Pro 7.2.9999999!

Right i think thats crystal. If your using a new MacBook with an intel processor i think you need the new Reason 3.0.5 and the new Rewire. Other than that you should be able to use it. But if your using a PowerPC chip then everything should work, even if your using logic express 7.1.

Ahh, thanks folks.
I just got the download of LE 7.2.1 in the updates, nice one Apple!, but it would not rewire with Reason 2.5....kept coming up with Rewire engine error....i tried re-installing Reason 2.5 but still have the problem.
So i assume that Reason 2.5 will not work with Logic Express 7.2.1 with regards Rewire ?
Oh well, guess i'm gonna have to save up for the new Reason 3.0.5
It's proving a costly move over to the macbook - software wise!!!!
